Following meetings on Monday morning, the competent authorities have decided to postpone the match which was due to see Valencia CF face Real Oviedo tonight at Mestalla as part of Matchday 7 in LaLiga. This is due to the red alert currently in place in the city of Valencia owing to adverse weather conditions.
Real Oviedo backs the decision taken, always prioritising the safety of all involved. The Club would like to transmit a message of prudence to travelling fans, urging them to take precautions and follow the indications and notifications of the authorities at all times. We are sorry for the inconveniences caused to Real Oviedo fans by the postponement of the encounter.
The fixture against Valencia CF will kick off at 20:00 tomorrow, Tuesday 30th September, at Mestalla.
