Real Oviedo Head Coach Álvaro Cervera appeared in the Press Room at El Requexón this morning, ahead of the weekend's Copa del Rey match.

Speaking ahead of the fixture at El Malecón, the Coach analysed the state of his squad, saying that "we still have six absentees, six players who we won't have available. We have Marco (Sangalli) back, he can play. Pomares and Borja will be ready next week."

Asked about his experiences of the knockout competition, Álvaro Cervera stated that "I have always been critical of the Cup, because I don't like the system. Everyone should have the same opportunities. It's a match and I can't imagine not going out to win. I am going to go out to win. The main thing is winning the match. Real Oviedo has to win the match."

Finally, with respect to possible changes to the starting eleven, the Gaffer believes that "I have to see some players that I haven't been able to see yet. I would like to see Jimmy, Abel (Bretones) at full back...and keep going in the same way."
