The forward of Real Oviedo Álex Forés appeared in the press room of El Requexón.
"I am here to work and the coach decides. All that's left is to train and keep a good attitude," stated the blue attacker, who emphasized his commitment and desire to keep growing. "They tell me that I am working well and making progress, but the decision is up to the coach. We have good forwards, and the position is competitive," he acknowledged.
Forés assured that he feels in great physical and mental shape: "I feel very good, I am at 100% and available for the coach and the team. I see myself with the possibility of playing every Sunday, not just this one in Seville due to Fede Viñas' absence. I want my teammates and the coach to trust me. I have always been a forward, but if I have to play on the wing, I have no problem."
When asked about the upcoming winter transfer market, the player was clear: "I am only thinking about Seville, there is no other thought. I take it day by day and don't think much further. Football has taught me that this is the best way to face things."
Regarding the team's lack of goals in recent matches, Forés was self-critical but also optimistic: "In these last games, we have created chances but lacked accuracy. The work is good, and I also believe in luck, but we need to keep improving to score goals. We are creating more," he explained. "I am not going to criticize my teammates because I know they work hard every day. It's not just about the forwards; it's a team effort. We are getting there, and we just need a bit more accuracy."
The forward also wanted to send a message of confidence to the fans: "I consider myself a very mentally strong person, and I believe the club and my teammates are as well. We are all in this together, and although the results haven't been good, we are united, and from there, we have to win games."
Finally, he valued the point earned against Mallorca: "After the draw, I only heard encouragement, no reproaches. The feeling is bittersweet because we haven't won in a long time, but I am sure it will come. I strongly believe in the unity of the group, and from there, we have to get out of the position we are in," he concluded.
