Agustín Lleida Named Real Oviedo Managing Director

Having acquired vast experience and development, he joins up with the club following fantastic spells in Costa Rica and Mexico

Real Oviedo has reached an agreement for Agustín Lleida to join up as the club's new Managing Director.
 
Agustín Lleida is 37 years old and was born in Monzón (Huesca). He earnt a degree in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences, with a specialisation in football. He has completed 4 Master's Degrees, and also secured his UEFA Pro coaching licence and Director of Football certification before moving to Mexico.
 
He began work with Grupo Pachuca at CF Pachuca , where he spent seven years in charge of the design and planning of the overall physical preparation of the club's teams. During this time the club won a Liga Mx championship, finished runner-up in Liga Mx, won a international Concacaf championship, and finished third in the Club World Cup, as well as selling several players to European sides.
 
Agustín Lleida then consolidated his professional development in Costa Rica, from where he now joins Real Oviedo. He joined Liga Deportiva Alajuelense as the Head of Youth Football, before becoming the club's Director of Football shortly afterwards, as well as leading the design and development of the High Performance Centre. He led the team to two runner-up finishes, one national championship, and a Central American championship in 2021 in his first Concacaf League. He is now joining back up with Grupo Pachuca as he returns to Spain with our club.
 
Agustín Lleida will join up with the club and be officially presented as the new Managing Director of Real Oviedo in the coming days. He is not scheduled to make any statements until the moment of his official presentation.
