Real Oviedo Head Coach Jon Pérez Bolo appeared before the Press this morning, answering questions from the gathered media at El Requexón ahead of his side's match at El Plantío this Saturday.
"It's been a short week, without a heavy workload because of the big effort we made at the Tartiere on Monday. We have tried to help the players to recover well and go into tomorrow in the best way possible."
Asked about the team's improvement in recent matches, Bolo remembered phrases from other press conferences, saying that "there is always margin for improvement." However, he added that "the team is doing things well and understands what we are asking of them."
With respect to the next opponent, Bolo stated that he knew Burgos well, as they continue to build on their work from last year. He believes that they have strengthened well, "with important players. It will be an uncomfortable and difficult match to play, but we will try to win."
The signs suggest that it could be a tight game with few chances, but Bolo reasoned that "in football you never know what is going to happen. Our work is about us being prepared for anything."
Finally, the Real Oviedo Head Coach sent out a message to thank the fans for their support, with another big away following expected this weekend. "We have to say thanks for everything they are giving us and we will try to repay them for their hope. Independently of the result, when the matches end they have to be proud of us. Their backing helps push us forward."
