Real Oviedo Vetusta today visited Langreo for their latest league fixture, with Los Azules losing 2-0 against their fellow Asturian side.
Alberto Horreo came into the starting eleven in goal for the team's trip to face Unión Popular de Langreo at Gánzabal. The home side played very deep during the first half and stopped the B team from playing through the middle. Los Azules still had the best chances of the half, as well as having a penalty saved, but the teams went in for halftime with the score still 0-0. Langreo pushed forward more following the interval and didn't allow Emilio Cañedo's team to get comfortable. Vetusta were able to get the ball, but could not find the final pass. Allyson, in the 69th minute, and Davo, in the 85th minute, scored the goals for Langreo, but Vetusta continued to look to get level right up until the final whistle.
The B team will have another chance to get a victory next week, when they welcome Las Palmas Atlético to El Requexón.
