On 18th March, Real Oviedo faced Granada CF at the Carlos Tartiere, with the match ending with a 2-1 victory for the Oviedistas, and also serving to celebrate the club’s 92nd anniversary. Among several acts carried out to mark the occasion, the 18 players in the matchday squad emerged for the warmup wearing special shirts, each bearing the name of one of the first 18 players to represent Real Oviedo. These shirts were auctioned on eBay Spain during the last week and raised a total of €1,921.20.

The funds raised will be donated to the Asociación Galbán, which works with the families of children with cancer. Real Oviedo wishes to thank all those who participated in the auction, as well as eBay Spain, for their collaboration in carrying out this charity initiative.
