Real Oviedo defender, Mossa, appeared before the press this morning following the team’s training session at San Gregorio.

The left back declared that he is “very hungry and excited” ahead of Saturday’s fixture against Alcorcón at the Tartiere. “We are working hard to try to produce a good game and make sure the points remain here. There is very little margin for error, but we are in good shape for what lies ahead. I am hugely excited. We have a great challenge facing us, but we can achieve it. However, we must only think about Saturday’s match.”

Mossa stated that, “you can see that it’s becoming ever tighter, and there are now more teams that want to get into the promotion spots. If we play well, we are no worse than anybody else. We have to have confidence in our work, in our team, and in what we are capable of doing. It all starts with winning the three points on Saturday.”

The defender said that, “we have come into it working well. Córdoba is in the past now, even if we were disappointed to only get a draw. Saturday’s game will be difficult. Alcorcón are an intense team, who defend very well and above all else compete, which is crucial. I am sure that it will be a hard, difficult match, and that we will have to play very well if we want to win.”

Finally, with respect to the importance of the different groups of players involved in attack and in defence, Mossa argued that, “we are all important in both the attack and in the defence. The team is working hard so that Mthey can cause damage whatever the situation on the pitch, and we have Npeople in attack who give us different options,” he concluded.
