Oviedismo is something which goes beyond borders, and today is another example of that. From today, our fanbase is even more international, with the birth of 'La Centolla Azul', Real Oviedo's first official supporters' club in New York.
Following last year's foundation of Peña Azul Cascadia in Portland (Oregon), Oviedismo is continuing to grow in the United States. This new incorporation means that there are now two official supporters' clubs in the USA; a reflection of a fanbase which knows no limits or distances.
The main aim of this new supporters' club is clear: to keep supporting and cheering on Real Oviedo from New York, bringing all Oviedistas in the area together to share each match and keep the blue flame alive.
Each supporters' club is a fundamental pillar of our fanbase, but when another is born beyond our borders, it is a double source of pride. It is the best proof possible that the Real Oviedo badge is carried in the heart, wherever one is.
On the part of the Club, we want to welcome all members of La Centolla Azul and thank them for their commitment, their passion, and their unconditional Oviedismo. Thank you for carrying our colours so far and for being an example of what it means to be a Real Oviedo fan.
