Real Oviedo winger Viti Rozada today appeared before the media, as the team went back to work at El Requexón.
The Asturian was unable to hide the squad's delight when discussing "a victory which the team needed. We went out strongly, right from the start, and things went our way following the red card." The midfielder described how Ziganda's side did "a great job against a very difficult opponent" in Real Valladolid.
With respect to his feelings about the last match, Viti admitted that "I felt my ankle with the foul and didn't think I would be able to continue, but luckily I bandage that ankle every match and it eased the impact. I managed to break through down the wing. I had known that we could hurt them on the wing."
Ahead of the coming fixture, which will see Real Oviedo come up against a team that gives very little away, Viti stated that "we are going to Lugo with complete excitement and to win. We know that they are producing a great season, they are difficult to beat, and they have clear ideas."
A large away following is expected for the encounter at Anxo Carro. Discussing this, the local lad issued a message to the Oviedistas who will be travelling to Lugo, saying that "their support is crucial, particularly in these final matches. We have everything at stake."
Finally, asked about the playing level that he is producing this season and where he believes that his ceiling is in terms of contributions to the team, the academy graduate highlighted that "belief is being shown in me and I feel important, which has an impact on a mental level. Off the field I am still doing work to strengthen the areas of my body which have given me problems in the past, and I want to keep going like this. I'm not thinking about where the ceiling is. I play every match as if it were the last one, and look to make the most of good form and help the team."
