We will celebrate our 96th anniversary on Saturday 26th March. The date coincides with the fixture against CF Fuenlabrada at the Carlos Tartiere.
During the last two seasons the pandemic has prevented us from carrying out the majority of the acts traditionally celebrated by our fans. The best news regarding this matter is that the anniversary party will return to the Carlos Tartiere this year, with a wide range of acts scheduled throughout the day. The club will also be present at the celebration, with the following chosen as this year's theme: the strength of the badge.
The club has prepared a special edition of a product which will be available in our official stores, both physical and online. There will only be five hundred units of the product available. This special pack will summarise our club's history through its badges, letting you learn about each of the variations made during the evolution towards today's badge. It takes you from our founder clubs, to our foundation in 1926, to the present day.
As such, all of the scheduled acts will be based around our badges; the different logos which have represented our club throughout our history. We will take a trip around the city of Oviedo, "giving fist bumps" to the pedestrians and offering them a surprise. An event will take place in the VIP area, which will see the members of the Real Oviedo Foundation's Board of History talk us through the journey taken by our badge over the course of the years. Little ones, and not-so-little ones, will be able to enjoy a treasure hunt through the streets of our city, with a map including clues, badges, and many places full of history, and a prize for the winners. Finally, we have created a dozen posters featuring our players, in a vintage style and full of history.
