Nahuel Valentini was officially presented as a new Real Oviedo player this morning in the press conference room of the Carlos Tartiere.

The Argentine, who trained for the first time with the group this morning, was accompanied by César Martin, who welcomed the player and commented that he "is a very complete center back who has all the characteristics necessary to compete in that position. After playing with Rosario Central, he went to Italy and played with Livorno and Spezia, so he will adapt quickly to La Liga".

On his own behalf, Nahuel Valentini began by analyzing what his arrival at Real Oviedo means, saying "It's a very positive change. I had never thought about doing it before but when I saw the interest and learned more about the club, I was motivated. Real Oviedo was interested in me and I was very motivated. I'm here to give 110 percent and ensure that everything goes well". Additionally, concerning about what he expected from the division, the central back commented that everything he had heard "appeared similar to Serie B. An equal and balanced tournament. I have heard wonderful things about Real Oviedo, it wasn't a difficult choice to make".

Concerning his style of play and his zone on the field, the Argentine stated that he is "a typical center back" and that he "can play on the side if necessary". He went on to say "Italy was like a school for me, I grew a lot and I hope to show my experience here in Oviedo. I want to adapt quickly here".

When asked about his first days in Oviedo and making contact with the coaching staff and first team, Valentini commented, saying "I spoke a little with the coach and he made me feel good. In the next few days he will explain his vision and what he wants from me in the team. I am looking forward to learning. About the team, I can say they are good guys and great players. There is a good environment here, and that's the most important. We have to make a team of brotherhood, effort, and self-respect in search of a common goal. I see effort, work, and dedication".

Finally, regarding the possibility of getting minutes next Wednesday in Les Caleyes, the Real Oviedo defender indicated that "it's the coach's decision. I've had a peculiar year, I was here and there and now I'm getting my rhythm back. I told the physical trainer to crack the whip over me so I can go in as soon as possible. I trust him and I'm getting into good shape quickly. Within a few days I'll be in the form we're all hoping for".

After his official presentation, Nahuel Valentini visited Campus Real Oviedo, where he was welcomed with affection by the fourth week participants. He answered their questions and took a customary group photo.
