After the presentation of Nahuel Valentini, Aarón Ñíguez was presented this afternoon as a new Real Oviedo player.

The Elche native was accompanied by César Martín, who welcomed him to his "new home" and highlighted the winger's abilities, saying "he is an attacking player who typically plays on the left but can fill any position in the attack. He is versatile, with nerve and quality, and he is going to help us a lot". Additionally, concerning his incorporation to the team, the director of institutional relations emphasized "his predisposition and good intentions to join the project".

After his first few hours in the city, Aarón Ñíguez indicated that "for the moment, everything is quite calm. I am getting to know everything, but I am anxious to train and work under the coach's orders".

Regarding what he plans to contribute to the team when the season comes around, Ñíguez promises "hard work and sacrifice", ensuring that "with these two things, the rest of my characteristics will show".

Concerning his experience defending the shirt of CD Tenerife this past season, Aarón said that "it was a great season", understanding that "to achieve any goal, hard work is all that matters, from game to game. Now it's time to think about Wednesday, when we play our next match, and focus on the work".

When asked about Real Oviedo and what it was that brought him to the team, the winger responded that "it is one of the great clubs of this country. It was an easy decision, and now it's time to work. I know several players. Héctor Verdés, Miguel Linares, Dani Bautista.... they have told me marvelous things about the club and the city".

With reference to the new coach and what he expects day in and day out, the winger said that "he is a well-known coach, who fought in the play-off's last season. I am very excited, and I'm ready to work and get to know him".
Additionally, in relation to his style of work, Aarón stated that he likes "urgency, it improves the team. That's why I have opted for a project such as this".

Finally, regarding the aspirations of the team in this new season, Aarón believes that "Real Oviedo is a great club, but there are 15 teams that are fighting for the same goal. We can't all achieve it, but we have to try, week in and week out, always working".

After his official presentation, the Real Oviedo winger started work under the direction of Juan Antonio Anquela this afternoon at 18:30.
