Real Oviedo midfielder, Sergio Tejera, appeared in the Press Room this morning following the team’s training session at El Requexón.
The Catalan, available once more after serving a suspension for the accumulation of yellow cards, is “happy to be back available and feeling great.” The team has picked up two consecutive victories, and Tejera stated that, “we’re doing things well, and it’s being reflected in the results. It’s about maintaining this level and this confidence.”
With respect to Sunday’s opponent, Las Palmas, Tejera described them as a “strong promotion candidate. They have been made for that, and you can’t relax against players of their level for even a second.”
Regarding the injury absentees that Real Oviedo will be travelling without, the midfielder argued that, “injuries are something normal in this sport, but we have enough teammates who can compete at the top level. The people who will come in from the bench are of a very good standard. We also have the lads from Vetusta, who are having a great year, and I’m sure that they’ll contribute when they step up,” he concluded.
