Over the past few months, Real Oviedo has begun working jointly with Brigham Young University following an agreement reached between the two organizations that facilitates the incorporation of students throughout distinct areas of the club.
The agreement went into effect on 1 May with the addition of intern Mallory Stack, who completed a wide range of tasks related to the club's social and communications departments. On 26 June, Jagger Moore, another Brigham Young University student, joined Real Oviedo and took Stack's place, where he will continue carrying out diverse assignments until the end of August.
The students' tasks primarily include collaborating with the social sector of the club in providing the Real Oviedo Experience, guiding tours of the stadium in English, and managing relationships with international shareholders. Additionally, the student interns work with the communications department to translate material for the club's official web page and social media accounts.
Brigham Young University, located in Provo, Utah and founded in 1875, is a prestigious university that currently boasts a student population of just over 30,000. As a matter of fact, one group of students from the university visited Oviedo at the end of May, and stopped by to experience the Carlos Tartiere and El Requexón.
In this way, Real Oviedo continues to collaborate with one of the top scholastic institutions in the United States, thereby strengthening our international reach.
