Having paid a visit to the participants in the second week of the summer camp, Steven Prieto spoke to the gathered press at the Tensi training facilities.

The 'Carbayón' forward, who was visiting this club activity for the first time, declared that, "It's awesome to see the kids here and the way they always have the club on their minds. It's nice to come here."

Ahead of the start of the new season, Steven stated that, "you always have to prepare yourself to do well in preseason. It's going to be more difficult and I have to add to the group. I've spent three preseasons with the first team now. This year will be another one, but it will be different. I know that I'm a first-team member now, and I have to contribute."

Asked about the lads moving up from the youth team to the first team, the attacker reasoned that, "it gives you pride and responsibility, but we have to consolidate our places at a higher level. The Coach trusts me, and that helps me a lot."

Having now seen the fixture list, Steven Prieto highlighted that, "it's good that our first game isn't far from home and that our fans can travel. It will be our first LaLiga match of the season and we want to do well. We will go for the win."

Finally, regarding his personal sensations, the youth-team graduate pointed out that, "I'm approaching this year in a different way. From there, I hope my work gets me to where I want to be. I want to get to the top," he concluded.
