The Press Room at the Carlos Tartiere today hosted the presentation of the sponsorship renewal deal with Tartiere Auto, with representatives of both Real Oviedo and the automotive company in attendance.

Club President Jorge Menéndez Vallina, Vice President Manolo Paredes, Headof Institutional Relations César Martín, Federico González and first-teamplayers Borja Sánchez and Jimmy were in attendance on behalf of the club. Meanwhile, Managing Director José María Salazar and Begoña Tartiere were representing Tartiere Auto.

After the agreement was sealed, Jorge Menéndez Vallina discussed its importance, stating that "there's no need to present them. They are more than well-known, and their support is far more than a commercial deal. We are grateful once more for their backing, which has been there forever and which we hope will last for a long time. We are grateful from the bottom of our hearts. It's a source of pride."

José María Salazar declared that "with this agreement, we are linked both emotionally and by name. I remember our families cheering the team on at the old Tartiere stadium. They were huge fans. It's a link which cannot be lost. It's not just a commercial agreement, but something much deeper. We are here to help the club grow."

Borja Sánchez and Jimmy then addressed the Press gathered for the act, with the former admitting that "we are delighted with the deal being signed. It's a privilege to be given a car. The car is great and it's a pleasure to have them at our disposal. Many thanks to Tartiere Auto, from the whole squad. Thank you for your support."

Regarding the team's improvement, Borja commented that "we are taking a step forward. On a personal level, things are working out for me, but I have to keep working. Improve, and keep going like this." With respect to
the side's good recent form, the academy graduate said that "I feel comfortable on the pitch and we have to keep moving forward. It (Sunday) was my first match as a starter here and I am proud. The fans are motivated, and they cheer us on even more."

Both players agreed on the importance of boasting a player with the ability of Saúl Berjón, with Borja highlighting that "he gave me a great pass the other day. I can only thank him; he helps me. Jimmy, meanwhile said that "playing with him is a luxury. Saúl is above us. He helps and advises us. He's an experienced player. He tells me to train and that the opportunity will come. It's important to have him there."

Finally, Jimmy, who hasn't been getting the minutes he would like lately, admitted that "it's not my best time at the moment, but the group is what matters. We have to get out of the situation and gain confidence. There will be times to play and other times when I don't. I want to change my form. I am focused on training and the Coach believes in me. The team has to do well; everything else is secondary to that."
