Real Oviedo forward Samuel Obeng today appeared in the Press Room at El Requexón, as the first team went back to work.
Following defeat in Villarreal, the attacker admitted that "we were annoyed, it was tough to take. There is no time to feel sorry for ourselves. On Sunday we have another opportunity to get three points."
With respect to the manner of preparing for the weekend's encounter with Granada, the Ghanaian reasoned that "we have to focus on the positives, and we have competed well in the last two matches. We have competed well in all the recent matches. Even though we've not had long with the Gaffer, you can see that we are a different team. We will go into Sunday in the same way as other matches. We are going to try to get the three points."
Asked about his feelings on an individual level, Obeng highlighted that "I am feeling good and happy to have started scoring again. I feel comfortable as a striker, but if I have to play on the wing then I will do so."
Regarding the squad's feeling about the current situation, the forward commented that "we are worried. We aren't in a good position, but we mustn't go crazy. There is time, a lot of time to do anything."
Finally, asked about the importance of being back at the Carlos Tartiere, Samuel Obeng believes that "we have to make our ground into a fortress with the fans behind us."
