Academy players Pelayo García Calvo and Adrián Fernández García, both Under-19s, have extended their Real Oviedo contracts.
Pelayo García, who has been alternating between Real Oviedo Vetusta and the Under-19s this season and is currently coming back from injury, arrived at the club from CD Quirinal in 2013. As his footballing growth has become clear, he has begun to earn game time with the B team.
Adrián Fernández, meanwhile, arrived from Villa de Pravia, and has also featured for both Vetusta and for our Juvenil side.
These deals are a further demonstration of the club's belief in the academy and in players who have come through our youth system and shown significant improvements in recent seasons.
