Real Oviedo’s midfielder, David Rocha, appeared in the Press Room at El Requexón after another one of the blue team's training sessions.

Asked about Sunday’s fundamental game at Reino de León, Rocha indicated that “there’s no turning back. This match is key to reaching our objective. We have a lot at stake, and hopefully we can win and achieve our objective.”

Rocha is aware that winning in León won’t be enough for the Play Off, but it will be enough to make it to the last Matchday alive. He noted that “wewant to depend on ourselves, even though the math doesn’t say that. However, we know that it is an important step to be able to have options for classification on the last Matchday.”

Cultural’s chances for salvation are also at stake. To Rocha, “their situation is much more dramatic. If we don’t reach the Play Off, we can reach it next year, but if they are demoted, that is dramatic. They are going to be under pressure, and we are going excited and super eager.”

Insisting that "it all depends on winning on Sunday," Oviedo's midfielder is aware that "we are at the point when all the teams can give you a fright. We know that everything depends on getting those six points. First León, and then that's up to God."

Regarding what he expects from the match, Rocha understands that "both of us are looking to avoid mistakes, benefitting from errors made by the opponent. We must be focused, trying to hurt them. Being all in is the most important."

With respect to Cultu's playing style, the Cáceres-born player explains that "the change isn't that extreme. They have gotten better, they are made to play, and they play by combining. They are going to require us to do it well. They create very open games, they don't give up their style, and they play long matches. We have to prepare ourselves for every situation."

Finally, when asked about the large response from Real Oviedo fans, David Rocha recalls that "they never fail us. In those important moments, it is impossible to think that we're going alone. For us, it is a great advantage. With our people behind us, we can face anything," he concluded.
