One more point - now 15 - to remain unbeaten. El Requexón hosted the first regional duel of Group I of the Segunda Federación between Real Oviedo Vetusta and Marino de Luanco, which ended in a 1-1 draw and left mixed feelings on both sides. Roberto Aguirre's team scored for the seventh consecutive week and maintained their unbeaten status.

The match started with pace and a very incisive Vetusta. Just in the 2nd minute, Dieguito created the first clear chance of the game: a good individual play that ended with a right-footed shot, forcing Dennis to make an excellent save to deflect it to a corner. From that same corner kick, Marco Esteban almost opened the scoring, first with a dangerous header and then with another near-consecutive attempt that came close to a goal.

The home team's dominance continued in the early stages, and in the 16th minute, it was Guille Berzal who came close to making it 1-0. The forward shot at an open goal after a mistake by the visiting goalkeeper, but his attempt grazed the post. Nine minutes later, he tried again with a low shot that missed by a very small margin.

Guille Berzal's persistence paid off in the 29th minute. Joaquín delivered a great pass, and Berzal made no mistake against Dennis, scoring the well-deserved 1-0 for the Oviedo side. The goal did not change the script: Vetusta kept attacking, and in the 36th minute, Marco Esteban had another clear chance after a lateral free kick, heading the ball at the far post without success.

Before halftime, Enzo came close to scoring the second goal after a precise cross from Omar Falah. Just a few centimeters separated the blue striker from connecting with the ball and extending the lead.

However, football once again showed its most unpredictable side after the break. In the 56th minute, Marino de Luanco found the equalizer in a play that caught the home defense off guard. The 1-1 was a blow for Aguirre's team, who responded with a double substitution: Cheli and Maza came onto the field to refresh the attack.

Later, the Oviedo coach made further changes, bringing on Castri and Coballes to add more offensive bite to his team. Vetusta pushed until the end but could not find the way to score. In added time, Espi had the last chance with a header after a lateral free kick, but his attempt went wide.

The scoreline did not change, and the 1-1 draw left a bittersweet taste for a Vetusta side that was superior in many phases of the match but could not secure the victory. Despite the draw, the Carbayones remain unbeaten in the Segunda Federación.
