The Real Oviedo has experienced a week of institutional and social recognitions, amidst the celebration of its centenary and following its promotion to the First Division. The owner of the Club and president of the Pachuca Group, Jesús Martínez, took advantage of his visit to Oviedo to personally receive three important distinctions that solidify the Club's impact beyond the sports field.

The first of the awards was the 2025 Gold Medal from the Oviedo Chamber of Commerce, presented at a ceremony held last Friday at the institution's headquarters. The chamber president, Carlos Paniceres, highlighted the club's economic, social, and historical value for the city and the region.

Additionally, Jesús Martínez also received at the Prince Felipe Auditorium the gold badge and honorary membership card from the Galicia Day Association in Asturias, in an event full of symbolism that celebrated the union between the Asturian, Galician, and Mexican communities.

Furthermore, Real Oviedo and the Pachuca Group were honored with one of the 2025 ASICOM–University of Oviedo Ibero-American Awards, for their commitment to the values of sports, culture, and Ibero-American integration. The event, held at the Historic Building of the University, was attended by club leaders, coaches, and players from the men's and women's first teams.
