Pucko: "It All Comes Down To Hard Work"

The Slovenian seemed "pleased" after his first weeks in Oviedo, and regarding the lack of goals he said "I'm not worried. We have a lot of quality up top".

Real Oviedo attacker Matej Pucko came to the press room after another training session at El Requexón athletic facilities.

Concerning the impending start of the competition, the Real Oviedo winger stated that "the team is ready for the first match. There are two preseason games left, and all that's left is to work hard".

In fact, when questioned about the work carried out during the preseason, Matej Pucko responded that "we've seen intensity the entire preseason, which is good for us. The team is preparing well".

In regards to how he sees the team, both in the defense and in the attack, the Slovenian said that "in the back, we are good. Up top all that we are missing are the goals, but they will come. We have two opportunities this weekend to improve. During the trainings we are working on it". Additionally, expanding on the lack of goals scored, the 'carbayón' attacker said "I'm not worried. We have a lot of quality up top, with talented wingers and forwards".

When asked about the qualities he provides the team with, Matej Pucko indicated that "I have a lot of strength and speed, and for that reasons I know I have to give more to the attack in these last games. It all comes down to hard work".

After his home debut against Deportivo de la Coruña and several training sessions in the Carlos Tartiere, the Slovenian commented that "it's a great stadium.There is a good atmosphere, ideal for playing and winning".

Finally, and concerning how he feels after his first weeks with Real Oviedo, Pucko concluded by saying that "everything is good, and I am very happy. The city, the team, the teammates...it's all perfect".
