This morning, Real Oviedo goalkeeper Juan Carlos appeared "eager for Sunday to arrive and to win the game". Already completely focused on the start of the official competition, the goalkeeper explained that "the first days of the week are slightly more focused on mobility, and later we know the coach will stress tactical aspects. We keep on putting together the details in order to be the best we can at the end of the week".

The Real Oviedo keeper evaluated not only his work but that of his companions in the goal, saying "the three of us have had a great preseason, Alfonso, Gorka and myself"; he seemed convinced as well that "we are we going to be a defensively reliable team because the coach has worked a lot on that. From there, we build".

Regarding the team's training and the new additions to the squad this season, Juan Carlos said that "we all understand each other well, especially the center backs. We hope that between all of us we can have a great year".

Concerning the necessity to prevent getting scored on, Juan Carlos commented that "it's important to keep the opponent's scoreboard at zero, because many times in this division, which is lengthy, the draws don't seem like much until the end of the season when they can make the difference".

In regards to the game this Sunday, the keeper stated that "playing in the Carlos Tartiere is always special, we hope that the fans are there with us. We will try to all go forward together and have a good year".
