In their visit to Anduva, Real Oviedo managed a draw at two goals each in the penultimate friendly of the preseason which saw Real Oviedo control nearly every minute of the game, and the last twenty minutes were highlighted by a fistful of youth players that Anquela brought to Miranda de Ebro.

The first half began with a starting eleven that once again included Edu Cortina. The Real Oviedo side, dressed in black and white in Anduva, had its first opportunity in a free kick taken by Saúl Berjón that was kept out by the home side's goalkeeper in the fifteenth minute. The first goal of the match came only moments later, the result of another good play by Saúl on the flank, who played a perfectly weighted ball through three defenders and onto the feet of Linares. Linares took advantage of the confusion amidst the defenders and the goalkeeper and fired a diagonal shot from the left side, scoring the first goal. With a put together defense who prevented Mirandés from threatening Alfonso, Pucko drove into the area with a talented individual play that was knocked out for a corner by the defense when he was preparing to shoot.

In the second half and without any changes to the Real Oviedo roster, a penalty was called. Edu Cortina was taken down in the area and Miguel Linares scored his second from eleven meters. Anquela proceeded to share more minutes and put in six of the youth players who had been called up to the roster. They finished out the match, along with goalkeeper Gorka. Pucko
had a final chance in a powerful shot from the right, which was blocked by Limones. Then came the Mirandés comeback, with goals by Pito Camacho in a defensive breakdown on Real Oviedo's part and from Yanis, who scored the drawing goal. Gorka intervened to knock away a ball that slipped by the crossbar and Steven had the last look of the game with a long shot that searched for the corner but ended up missing.

Juan Antonio Anquela's men return to Oviedo, with a training session planned for tomorrow morning, Saturday, at 11:00 in El Requexón and the final friendly of the preseason at 19:00 in La Veigona (Luarca) against Real Valladolid.
