ALSA bus station in Oviedo today hosted the official presentation of Eric Bailly as a new Real Oviedo player, in an act which also served to unveil the renewed image of the bus station, featuring commemorative billboards celebrating the club's centenary on the front of the building.

The new centre back was joined by Managing Director Agustín Lleida, who welcomed him, as well as highlighting the key role played by ALSA in being "in charge of the mobility of all of our men's and women's teams."

Eric Bailly was next to take to the microphone, speaking to the different members of the media who had gathered for the occasion.

"It was not a difficult decision to choose Oviedo. The most important thing for a football is for the club to show interest in you. I spoke to the Coach, and I liked what I heard and the project. On Friday, I was at the stadium against Villarreal and I liked the team. I liked what I saw, and now we have to focus on Sunday. I think that the team is ready."

Regarding his feelings and what he can contribute to the team, Eric Bailly stated that "I have been training on my own for a while, but I'm basically fine. I have to train with the group and see how I am. There's an important match this weekend and I want to help the team. If the Coach thinks I'm ready then I am available to him. I want to be important, and give it everything in order to achieve the team's objective."

Asked about what he is expecting from his move to Oviedo, the African defender highlighted that "I like to be in a united changing room, which is like a family. I already know Cazorla, Hassan, and Forés. I want to be important."

Finally, ahead of the encounter with Real Madrid, the defender explained that "everyone prepares for matches in different ways. The team knows how difficult the match is, but we are playing at home and our fans are ready. They will be important."
