Real Oviedo earns a point in the league opener at the Carlos Tartiere against Granada CF (0-0), in a match where the blue team was superior for much of the game and had the best chances, especially in a first half where they only lacked finding the path to goal.

Oviedo continued looking for alternatives, and later, more changes were made with the introductions of Isfan, Víctor Mingo, and Enzo Pérez, the young blue academy player who made his debut with the first team.

It was precisely in the final moments when the blue team stepped up. With the support of the Tartiere crowd, Oviedo began to pin Granada back in their half, increasing their presence near the visitors' penalty area. The team pushed until the end, but the goal remained elusive.
