Real Oviedo presented Carlos Domínguez as the new player of the blue team this Thursday, August 13, at the Carlos Tartiere Stadium. The event was attended by the club's sporting director, David Fernández, who accompanied the center-back in his official introduction as a "carbayón" player.
During his presentation, the new blue player expressed his excitement about starting this chapter in Oviedo and his desire to quickly adapt to the team to face the challenges of the new season.
"It all happened very quickly. I am adapting little by little, but the group is very good, and I am very happy. When the Oviedo option came up, I said yes from the very beginning because it is a club with a lot of history in Spain," said the new blue player.
"I have good ball distribution. I define myself as a solid center-back, and I am here to contribute in that left-sided role," highlighted the defender from Vigo.
Regarding his arrival in Oviedo, the first match at the Tartiere, and the presence of David Costas in the team, Carlos noted, "I spoke with him last season, and he told me the club was in a good place, so the decision was quite easy. I am very eager to play and to experience the atmosphere here. I want to live it, and I am very excited."
Finally, David Fernández took the floor and spoke about current topics concerning the blue team. "The level of satisfaction is very high regarding Hassan because all the parties involved are happy."
"Rosters are considered finalized when the transfer window closes, but anything can still happen," concluded the sporting director of Real Oviedo.
