The Press Room at the Carlos Tartiere today provided the backdrop for the official presentation of Roberto Suárez as the club's new Director of Football.
The Asturian, who was previously the club's Technical Secretary, was accompanied by Club President Martín Peláez and Managing Director Agustín Lleida, who both thanked him for his willingness and commitment to Real Oviedo. Both highlighted the importance which Grupo Pachuca sees in supporting people who know the club, saying that "we had the best option right here. Roberto loves this team, he knows the club, and we are sure that he is going to take us in the right direction."
The new Director of Football expressed his gratitude for the decision taken, stating that "I am here to contribute, together with a dynamic working team, in which everybody is important in the day-to-day tasks. At the same time we will be learning every day from Grupo Pachuca's model."
Regarding the team and the new coaching staff, the Asturian commented that "we have to adapt to the coach's ideas and look for an on-field improvement in line with the players."
