Real Oviedo has reached an agreement for Roberto Suárez to become the club's new Director of Football.
The former Real Oviedo player has a deep knowledge of the club, right the way through from the youth teams up to the first-team squad. Having occupied the role of Technical Secretary up until now, he will now begin work as Director of Football, bringing continuity to the important work which is being done by his working staff, and leading Grupo Pachuca's project for the club. Homegrown talent plays a key role in the project, as part of the philosophy which the Group brings to each of its new endeavours.
The Director of Football will be presented at 17:00 on Thursday at the Carlos Tartiere. The Asturian will make no statements until that time.
