Real Oviedo Vetusta ended 2019 with a trip to the Municipal de Navalcarbón, where Emilio Cañedo’s team lost 1-0 against Las Rozas.
In a match of two halves, Real Oviedo Vetusta went out in search of a final victory of the year. Los Carbayones dominated the first half, as Emilio Cañedo’s team put in a committed performance, with very fluid play in the centre of the pitch which looked to the midfielders to provide swift transitions in play with the ball. Javi Cueto and Rober Alarcón had the best chances of the first half, but couldn’t make the most of them, as the teams went in for the interval with the scores level. Las Rozas came out more strongly for the second half, providing a warning as to their intentions within the opening minutes of the second half, and taking the lead in the 58th minute. The B team tried to find an equaliser by using their wide men, but the home keeper denied the clearest chance, which fell to Rober Alarcón. The match ended in a 1-0 home win.
Real Oviedo Vetusta now begin their winter break, and will return to training on 30th December, when they will begin to prepare for their next league fixture against Marino de Luanco.
