The Real Oviedo Foundation has made the most of the Christmas period to organise a friendly match between club employees and several inmates at Asturias Penitentiary Centre. The event was organised with the aims of encouraging effort and personal attempts to overcome difficulties, as well as to promote companionship and teamwork.
The activity is integrated into the many community acts carried our by the Foundation. It is another example of the club's commitment to contributing to other important sectors, aside from football.
The Foundation is sticking true to its slogan of 'Our commitment is to people', carrying out a wide variety of activities, with the target of being a global leader in terms of the use of sport as an educational tool and a means for social integration, looking to promote healthy living habits and for social coexistence.
