Real Oviedo and José Luis Pereda 'Cheli' have reached an agreement to extend the player's contract for the next two seasons.
The footballer, who was previously under contract until 30th June 2024, is currently representing our División de Honor side. This season he has played eleven matches, scoring four goals. Part of the 'Generation of 2005', Cheli arrived at Real Oviedo from TSK Roces in 2019. He is now one of the key men for Paco Fernández's team, who are having an excellent campaign so far.
This renewal sees Real Oviedo maintain its objective of backing talent developed at El Requexón and its academy model.
