Real Oviedo full back, Mossa appeared in the Press Room after the team completed its morning training session at El Requexón.
The left back began by admitting that victories like Saturday’s against Numancia “serve to bring us happiness and calmness. We hope that it will mean more than simply three points, and it helps us to keep growing moving forward.”
Asked about the formation, Mossa pointed out that “it’s true that this formation suits me in attack, but the team is more important than the formation. If we feel good as a team, then things always go better. The eleven must feel good and comfortable on the pitch.”
Anquela admitted on Saturday that the team had managed to play at a good level for longer. Mossa stated that he agreed with his Coach’s assessment, and that the team must now have the mentality of carrying it on away from the Tartiere. “We mustn’t settle for only producing these performances at home. We must be capable of doing it away too. We must take on the challenge internally and become capable of competing to a better level. We are working on it.”
Talking about the league position, the full back stressed the importance of “the demands we place upon ourselves. Within the changing room we are the first to put demands on ourselves, and I hope that it means we can have more ambitious objectives.”
With respect to the trip to Lorca, Mossa highlighted that, “we travel there with complete respect. They are a team to be wary of. We will have to play very well to compete in this match,” he concluded. .
