The Artés Carrasco played host to the clash between Lorca CF and Real Oviedo last Saturday in the latest matchday in the Liga 1|2|3, and the fixture ended with a 2-0 victory for Real Oviedo. In addition to allowing for an even better feeling around the club, good play, and three more points to the tally, the match also saw our striker, Miguel Linares, reach the total of 50 goals in the Real Oviedo shirt.

The forward from Fuentes de Ebro, now in his fourth season representing Real Oviedo, made the score 0-2, benefitting from a Saúl Berjón cross which had been denied by the left-hand post. With this strike, Miguel Linares has become part of an elite group of goal scorers for the club, chief amongst them Lángara, Herrerita, Carlos Muñoz, and Diego Cervero.

Miguel Linares’ goals since arriving at Real Oviedo at the start of the 2014/15 season have been spread between LaLiga (18), Segunda División B (28), playoff matches (2), and cup matches (2).
