Real Oviedo winger, Yaw Yeboah, appeared in the Press Room following the latest training session for Juan Antonio Anquela’s men.

The Real Oviedo forward, who has enjoyed minutes and starting matches in recent weeks, declared himself “happy”, stating that, “I’m pleased personally to have the trust of the Coach and to be starting, but the most important thing is that they were two good wins for the team and the fans.  Everyone is happy.”

Asked about how he adapted to the playing style in Spain, to the team, and to the Coach’s demands, Yeboah admitted that, “I was new here, it’s my first time in Spain, and I have had to adapt.  I went straight into the team and I am adapting little by little.  I have to watch, learn, and adapt to the style of play here.”  More specifically, regarding how he has adapted to the team, the Ghanaian said that, “when you move to a new team you have to adapt, but if I do what the Coach says then I will play.  I am capable of dribbling and contributing in attack, but I also have to defend and help the team.  It’s a team game and you can’t play individually.  We all have to contribute to the team.”

Finally, with respect to what we are currently seeing from Yeboah and whether he thinks it’s the most he can offer to the team, the attacker stated that, “you can always do more.  I have to work and learn.  Right now, I am doing everything I can for the team, and little by little you will see the best of me,” concluded the Ghanain.
