Real Oviedo Head Coach Luis Carrión appeared in the Press Room at El Requexón this morning, speaking to the gathered media. The triumph against CD Eldense provided the club with a morale boost, and the Coach didn't hesitate to highlight it. "Whenever you win, and particularly in that way, you feel happier. It's a victory, but the table isn't how we want it to be. We are really looking forward to tomorrow's match."

 

Regarding the squad and the playing style that he wants to transmit, Luis Carrión explained that "with the team we have, where there are talented, very good players in the centre of the pitch, we have to make them play and dominate the match. We have to draw the opponent in to generate spaces. We have a good team to take risks."

 

Real Oviedo will be back at the Carlos Tartiere on Wednesday to face SD Huesca, and the Gaffer wanted to recognise and praise the unconditional support of the Oviedistas. "I've been surprised by the support shown in those two matches in spite of the situation. It's normal for people to be euphoric now, but we have to stay calm. Work hard, play a good match, press, have the ball, and make the fans enjoy it. I'm expecting a good atmosphere tomorrow."

 

Finally, Luis Carrión discussed the next opponent and admitted that "it's a very competitive team. They have quick players and a lot of options out wide. They had an even match against Sporting the other day and they aren't doing things that badly. It's a tough opponent and it will be a difficult match."
