Real Oviedo Head Coach Luis Carrión appeared in the Press Room at El Requexón this morning, addressing the gathered members of the media ahead of the Copa del Rey fixture against CE Manresa. The Gaffer began by highlighting that "we have to be focused on doing things well. For us it's important to get through in the cup."
"The financial reward is very important, but when you are inside the changing room you don't think about that too much. The club does, though. You also think about the prestige. It is a nice competition. We want to make our fans happy, and the cup is one way of doing so. The players are focused on putting in a good performance."
"There isn't such a big difference between the divisions. We know that we are in good form. Tomorrow has to be a good match for us, and we have to compete. We are going to try to do well in order to get through to the next round."
"I met their Gaffer a while ago in Espanyol's academy. They try to have the ball, they are aggressive getting into the box, and they use several different systems with the aim of pulling the opponent out. They are doing well in the Segunda RFEF considering their budget."
