Real Oviedo player Santi Cazorla spoke to the gathered media this morning at El Requexón. The academy product expressed how he is feeling, declaring that "the truth is that I am enjoying it even more than I expected. The affection I receive is something that I will always carry forward with me."

Regarding his emotions since the beginning of the season, he highlighted that "at the start it was difficult, particularly since I wasn't able to help, the results weren't coming, and it was frustrating. Now everything looks different. Results come first in the world of football. Every day I am feeling better, I am getting up to speed, and I've not had any knocks. I can still improve. Game time gives you that, but I am feeling good both physically and mentally."

Asked about the squad, Cazorla stated that "ever since I arrived they have made me feel part of the family. We have a spectacular group, and that is necessary in order to get results. I am another member of the squad, and I am coming here to contribute. They have made things easy for me."

The Real Oviedo player was asked about the remainder of the season, saying that "the key is to be strong at home and we have to dream big, but while remaining humble. We are going to go to Zaragoza to try to win and keep picking up points. It's a very difficult division, a marathon, and there are no easy opponents." He also evaluated Monday's fixture, highlighting both sets of fans, and saying that "it is a match with two fanbases worthy of the First Division. I hope we can compete with them and get three important points to keep climbing the table."
