Lucas Ahijado has today signed an agreement to extend his Real Oviedo contract until June 2025.
The academy graduate has become one of the most important players for Álvaro Cervera this season, featuring in more than thirty matches. Lucas represents the club's values perfectly and is one of the players who has come through the youth ranks to become a regular starter in the first team.
Lucas' first-team debut came in 2014 in the Segunda División B fixture against Celta de Vigo B. Lucas Ahijado is now one of the homegrown players who has played more than 100 first-team matches, and he will now look to increase that figure still further.
This renewal sees the full back demonstrate his complete commitment to the club and to the Grupo Pachuca project for the coming seasons.
