Real Oviedo player Carlos Pomares appeared before the media in the Press Room at El Requex贸n today. The full back, who returned to action last Saturday following injury, explained that "it's always nice to come back. Everyone deals with it in their own way. I've not had many injuries in my career except from this year, but what I do is work. The only thing you can do is work and that's what makes me able to go home feeling calm. My medicine is hard work."

Pomares was also asked about the number of injuries suffered by the team this season, and highlighted that "we've had quite a lot this year. I've spoken to people a lot, and neither the work that was done nor that which is being done is bad. It's just what has happened to us, and we have been fixing it."

On a footballing level, the left back highlighted the fine work done by Grupo Pachuca and their commitment to the club. "The people who have come into Oviedo have come to help and to establish a working method. For that reason I've been disappointed that we haven't been able to get better results. They have come to help the club."聽

Finally, thinking now about Saturday's fixture against Ibiza, Carlos Pomares was adamant that it would not be an easy match. "Everyone has something at stake now. It's very nice to be in the Segunda Divisi贸n and it means a lot to any club on every level. Everybody wants to be here. It will be a difficult match, and what you are looking to do is to win no matter what it takes. That's the only thing that matters."
