Real Oviedo Vetusta travelled to Galicia today for the Matchday 30 fixture against Polvorín FC in Grupo 1 of the Segunda RFEF. Having triumphed at home against CD Laredo last time out, Los Azules were looking to put together back-to-back wins, and Jaime Álvarez opted for a starting eleven made up of Marco; Charbel, René Pérez, Marco Esteban, Osky; Víctor Blanco, A. Cardero, Yayo, Miguel Cuesta, Sesé; and Masca.

The match got off to a bad start, with Lugo's B team taking the lead early on, as Idrissa headed past Marco to open the scoring. Los Carbayones looked to regain their composure and level the scoring before the interval, but it would be Polvorín FC who extended their advantage through Idrissa just before halftime. Further bad news came through the injury suffered by Charbel in the 41st minute, with Enol coming on in his place.

Román replaced Osky for the second half, and Vetusta went looking for a goal to bring them back into the match. It was not their day, however, and the home team maintained their clean sheet. Mario Fuente, Iván, and Joan Cruz were the last changes used by Jaime Álvarez, but the pattern of the match did not change.

Leandro, in the 84th minute, and Idrissa, in the 92nd, eventually made the score 4-0. Today's defeat was a tough one to take for a Vetusta side which remains sixth in the table with 45 points.
