This morning Joselu closed the 2019 edition of the Real Oviedo Campus. The ‘Carbayón’ striker visited the last session of this year’s summer activity, which again had a new assistance record, answered the participant’s mquestions and received a gift and the best wishes of those present.

Additionally, Joselu appeared before the media and explained that his knee discomfort “was just a scare” and that he hopes “to be training with the team” on Monday.

The Andalusian forward stated that he has started his second season “super well physically, with several kilograms less. I need to take better care of myself, keep the same optimism throughout the year and not let it wear-off. The squad needs to be very close during the bad streaks, and together we should all have a great year.”

Regarding the squad’s make-up, Joselu said, “we have to wait. We don’t know how the year will turn out, or if another reinforcement is still missing. The team is very qualified to compete. People complain when many signings are made and there are no people from the house, and now it’s the contrary. We all need to be together, all year. I am very happy with the teammates I have, and I hope that my best version, the Joselu that I want to see, is seen,” concluded the Andalusian.
