One of the Real Oviedo first-team captains, Jimmy, appeared in the Press Room this morning at El Requexón. After returning to action against SD Amorebieta, Jimmy stated that "I think I did well. It's always hard when you haven't played for a few matches, but I am training hard and I think that I'm ready for whatever I have to do. I want to keep helping the team."

"It's true that the other day the opponents went down to ten men, but we always look for the victory. The team has stepped up, and now we want to keep going with this form in order to continue climbing the table."

Los Carbayones will be back at the Carlos Tartiere this weekend for the fixture against Alcorcón, and the midfielder was quick the highlight the importance of doing well at home. "Being strong at home is very important, and it's something that we've been missing. We have to keep going like this and make our opponents see that it's tough to win at the Tartiere."

"This division is always very even. This weekend we are playing against a team that is down towards the bottom, but they are perfectly capable of beating us. The table might start to split into two groups, and we hope that we are in the top part."
