Real Oviedo midfielder Javi Muñoz made an appearance in the press room at El Requexón.

After Sunday’s match against Extremadura, the Madridian is “content with how the match went on a personal level,” but he recognizes that, “We ended up with a bittersweet situation, we created a lot of opportunities. We should continue with what we’re doing, but we have to give a little more.” In addition, on what Juan Antonio Anquela told them after the match, Javi Muñoz stated that, “The gaffer told us that’s what football is, but we have to correct the details.”

Regarding the good performance on Sunday against Extremadura, the midfielder pointed out that, “I’ll try to do my best for the team, following the instructions that the coach gives me.”

Asked about the positive conclusions he was able to make from the match on Sunday at Carlos Tartiere, Javi stated that, “We’re focusing on what the coach asks of us. The other day we made plays and had opportunities, which is what is going to get us the victory.”

Specifically, on his debut in the Real Oviedo homeland, the Madridian shared that, “It’s spectacular and we hope that the next match we can bring them a victory.”

Finally, regarding the next two matches, which will be far from Carlos Tartiere, Javi believes that, “This division is very difficult. We’re going to Córdoba and to Cádiz, and we plan on getting the three points,” the Madridian concluded.
