Real Oviedo midfielder, Richard Boateng, appeared in the Press Room at El Requexón this morning.
Following Sunday’s match against Extremadura, the Ghanaian highlighted that, “the whole team feels good. The Coach is pleased with our work. We had the ball and created chances, which is what we had been working on. This is the path we have to follow; improving every day through hard work.”
Talking about his first experience at the Carlos Tartiere, the central midfielder stated that, “it was an incredible atmosphere. I didn’t expect it. I felt great with the fans there and the atmosphere at the Tartiere.” In addition, Boateng admitted that, “it was the best match since I’ve been here. I did everything the Coach asked of me, felt comfortable, and everything was great.”
Asked about the strong squad the club has, with a number of players competing for a position in central midfield, the Ghanaian pointed out that, “we are all here to compete and help the team. We are ready to help the team out.”
Finally, regarding the next opponent, Córdoba, Boateng reasoned that, “all of the opponents are difficult. We are going there with respect and to compete,” he concluded.
