Luis Álvarez, Real Oviedo's season-ticket holder number 1, yesterday received a pleasant surprise for his 90th birthday.

The fan was accompanied by two of his grandchildren yesterday as he visited the Carlos Tartiere to receive a small gift from the club.  César Martín, Head of Institutional Relations at the club, presented him with a personalised shirt, complete with his name and age.

This gift forms part of an initiative put in place by the community side of the club, with the aim of highlighting Real Oviedo's season-ticket holder number 1.

Luis Álvarez could not hide his excitement upon receiving the gift, and is hoping for a victory this Sunday against Tenerife.  Happy Birthday Luis!
