This Sunday's training session was not a normal one for Real Oviedo at El Requexón. Today's workout brought an official end to preseason, following yesterday's final preseason friendly.

 

The players went out onto Pitch 5 to receive their usual post-match chat from the coaching staff, led by Jon Pérez Bolo. The coaches were feeling positive, and worked on corrections to certain aspects of the performance, before giving the team encouragement ahead of the imminent start of the league campaign.

 

Today's session was divided into two working groups. Those players who played a larger portion of the Racing friendly worked out inside, while the rest of the squad carried out finishing exercises and drills to practise transitions between attack and defence, with the ball involved at all times.

 

The closing act of preseason was followed by Real Oviedo President Martín Peláez and a good number of fans, who did not want to miss out on the chance to attend the open training session and get behind their team.
