Real Oviedo's first team will begin pre-season training on Monday 14th July at El Requexón, thus kicking off a new campaign under the orders of Veljko Paunovic.
During the first week, Los Carbayones will complete a total of seven training sessions, as well as undergoing the necessary medical tests at Clínica Asturias. The established workout plan includes both single and double sessions, divided as follows:

Monday 14th and Tuesday 15th: Training at 9:30 a.m.

Wednesday 16th: Double session at 9:30 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Thursday 17th: Training at 9:30 a.m.

Friday 18th: Training at 9:30 a.m.

Saturday 19th: Training at 9:30 a.m.
The first test of the pre-season will come on Saturday 26th July, with a friendly against Getafe CF at the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas, at 20:00. In addition to the match against the Madrid-based team, Real Oviedo has already scheduled other preseason matches, while the final calendar is still pending:

31st July: Garra Fest, against Villarreal CF and Genoa CFC, which will pay tribute to Santi Cazorla as well as the 75th anniversary of the death of Carlos Tartiere. This event, part of the Real Oviedo Centenary celebration, will provide a great blend of sport, music, Oviedismo and surprises.

6th August: Playing for the LXXIV Emma Cuervo Trophy in Ribadeo against RC Deportivo de La Coruña (19:00h).
Additionally, on Monday 14th July several Real Oviedo Vetusta players will start working with the first team. The players who will start under Paunovic's orders are: Miguel Narváez, Diego Tejón, Omar Falah, Lamine, Marco Esteban and Eze.
Real Oviedo thus begins its most special preseason in recent years, with the return to the First Division on the horizon.
