Real Oviedo concluded a very special day this Sunday with the presence of several international shareholders who enjoyed a unique experience coinciding with the match against Rayo Vallecano, a game that ended in a goalless draw at the Carlos Tartiere. The visit is part of the new edition of the Supporters Weekend, an already established event in the blue calendar that brings together Oviedo supporters from all over the world in the capital of the Principality.
On this occasion, 25 international shareholders traveled to Oviedo to share three days full of sports, Oviedo spirit, culture, and gastronomy, with the aim of bringing them even closer to the history and current affairs of the Club and the city. Most of them came from the United Kingdom, where Oviedo spirit has maintained a strong presence for years. This group was joined by a fan from Ireland and six more from the United States, reflecting the growing global reach of the blue sentiment.
The participants had the opportunity to visit the Carlos Tartiere this past Sunday, tour its facilities, and stand on the pitch before the match where they could see the players up close. They also visited the Real Oviedo Museum and the press room. The Sunday event culminated with the shareholders' presence in the stands, where they cheered for the team in an extraordinary atmosphere where only the victory was missing. Finally, both children and adults were able to take photos with their idols and capture a unique moment in the center of the field at the Oviedo municipal stadium.
One of the most special and unique moments of the weekend was experienced by four lucky shareholders, who were able to spend the night before the match in the first team's locker room, living an exclusive experience they will hardly forget.
The Supporters Weekend thus concludes four unique days and a new edition, consolidating itself as a bridge of connection between Real Oviedo and its international community, increasingly numerous and committed to the values and history of the Club.
